hey there

so i've come to the end of my two and a hlaf month sabbatical from the working world. now one problem is i was very unprodcutive but being back at work may help as writing there will be valid and much needed preocarstination and distraction but thats a story for another day.

but i wanna talk about other stuff so here we go

recently i have been travelling around newcastle a bit more and spotting people who i once knew be it from school or other areas of my past

now in most cases i did what your meant to do, i talked to them politly we filled eachother in on our past few years then spent a bit of time engaged in general life banter ( arnt jobs shit, aint rent a mofo nice weather etc) and this was fine despite the fact in most cases these people werent people i often talked to back then if at all.

and its funny i guess its part of growing up that we do this but its strange becasue even if its just for the sake of public deceny or social convention we are always so frakking chipper about it

now i'd done this a few times when i ended up on the mornign commute stood opposite 2 guys who i used to go to school with and we didnt talk, i considered it and then i went .... nah

and i wondered why do we choose these actions, do our ties in our past get revistied on the fly due to the strangth of the ti, or the energy of the reviewer...

i wnder what ahppens now, will the people i talk to now end up having similar resposnes in the furture

hey there interwebs

ok now i no i dont post here often ( and that expression is all to common a preface for my posts)

but recently SHIT GOT DONE

my first written and drawn comic for the paper jam art and that anthology was published
and relseased in a well spiffy art gallery event in durham. and it looks really good which is supprisingin cos i'm quitefrankly a poor excse for an artists own poor excuses

also prior to this my co writer seasmus and i made some progress wiht our show wrting and things may move on.

either way i suppose thats all i can say lol

so as the title sugests i dont use ths blog a lot. and thats kinda bad, this blog was meant to be a chronicle of all the stuff i did during my 2.5 month sabbatical from work.

however my productivity has waned. admittidly it seems to be improving slightly as of late ( seamus and i reworkd a load of cool shit yesterday was dead impressed)

but really i just dont use this blog

i was gonna use this as a weird JD like disection of days gone by.. but i got bored half way thru

and lets be fair ya'll dont want to read my ruminations on life and journeys thru the day with my musings and such

so i'll leave that for now

jesus this post has no real substance lol

but if read it thanks

a more positive update

since my last update about my laziness. i have signed up for boxing session at my local gym, hour long boxing drills which as exhausting so that should help

not written anything but hey baby steps right?

update

so yeah update as its been a while

not too much gonig on really currently on sabbatical ( read unemployed) but i can go back to old job in augst if i want too

so so far my plan of daily gym sessions and wrting has boiled down to
1 gym sesson
2 writing session ( 2000 words aka half a decetive story)

and 4 days in leeds ( whihc bled into one in york)

a lot of dossing around at coola boola

and a 3 day set of drinking sessions

and now

so not going to plan but my shedcule calms down soon, so unless the soon arrivla of red dead redemption kills my free time i aim to get back on track :-)

hey all

as i've mentioned before i helped co create a comic called kitty wants wuvv

well now its gonna be a web comic so working on how to get that going

a good weekend

hey there blog fans ( there are none yet i assume)

its been a good weekend this weekend so far,

saturday was free comic book day and while i missed some of the better comics due to a mild hangover from post work drinks on friday, i got some good comics and a hell of a lot of good deals.
follwoign that a day ahnign out wiht the boola boys which was good fun, hanging out at the boola and then the pub, talking comics and playing top trumps ( thats right 4 grown men sat in a city centre pub playing dc superhero top trumps fear out epic maturity)

then we rolled out to see iron man 2 which was fracking aweosme really enjoyed it aweosme fight scences and a a enjoyable plot wiht lots of brilliant fan boy asides for the geeky in the audience.
( seriously there was a captain america reference and people in the cinema kpet giving us dirty looks for laughing longer than they did about it lol)

well now i'm knocking up another KWW script so my artist can knock it up. so good times

a disapointing continuation

you know i started this blog to put loads of interesting updates and what not in here for your reading enjoyment but now realise i'm not that interesting so updates since last time

i found a new gym closer to my house and a lot cheaper than current gym so gonna aim to lose some more weight

other than that not much is happening

oh i also went and audtioned for a role in c4 sitcome pilot. i'm not that hopefull but we'll see eh

so intrepid readers (currently thats no one but who cares )

in my first post i mentioned a variety of projects i was working on

"but andy what are these projects i hear you ask"

well let me tell you

the one you may see quickest is my standup i am currently always looking for new places to perform so if you have any gigs i'll take em

the next qucikest piece of work is a co authored tale for the zombie comic "Z" which will be independantly published through traveling man stores and was co written by my freqent collaboratr and good friend Chris "seamus" Hately with art by brit ( i dont know her surname)

then is an unnamed webtv show created by me and developed by chris and i whcih is currently in the scripting stage

also there is a new serie named "kitty wants wuv" which was co created by faye stacey and i with lots of writing and help from ... you guessed it chris Hately

also i am helping chris whichever way i can with his own creation currently named "luciens library" which is very much his baby but i aim to help wiht where i can

other than that there are at least 9-10 new ideas a day from chris and i so i'll keep ya posted folks

hello interwebs

I'm new to this kinda thing

I've used crap blogs before normally for little life updates or end of year reviews or just personal and pointless reasons

however as i'm and aspiring comedian / actor, and also an amatuer writer of comic books/tv/short film/ prose etc and currently have a few projects on the go. i decided i needhave an online base for these things and a blog and twitter account sounds like a good place to start

so if your ready this thats grand. hopefully soon enough there will be samples of work and links to other exciting news. but for now this is it please enjoy
